 Entry Forms
  • A completed entry form must be received no later than Friday 2 August 2019, however, due to space constraints with the Laguna Hall the committee reserve the right to close entries earlier if we reach our capacity of entries prior to this date.  
  • Entries will only be accepted if listed on this form, with all details included so that payment for sold artwork is not delayed or withheld.
  • Each entry must be the original work of the Artist and must not have been previously exhibited at a Laguna Art Exhibition.
  • Entry can be completed via the online entry form, hand deliver to the School Administration office; or by post to Laguna Public School P&C Association (Attention: Artist Liaison) , 3738 Great North Rd, Laguna NSW 2325
  • Entry fee of $25 is for 1-5 works. $1 from this entry fee is your Laguna Public School P&C membership.
  • Please include your entry fee (per Artist) with your form. Fee payable online, by cash, cheque or direct deposit to Laguna P&C BSB. 062805, Account No. 00900902 (put your name in the description field for our reference).
Commission
  • A commission of 25% will be deducted from all works sold.
  • Selling Artists will be paid by direct deposit by the end of September 2019.
  • PLEASE COMPLETE BANK ACCOUNT INFORMATION. Incomplete details  will lead to a delay in payment.
  • The Art Exhibition Committee accepts artworks as donations for which Laguna P&C gratefully receive 100% of the sale price. No entry fee is required for donated works.
Framing and Presentation
  • For the safety of your artwork it will be checked, on delivery, to ensure that it is framed and wired ready for safe hanging. We accept no responsibility for work that is damaged because of poor framing or wiring.
  • Each entry should have the Artist’s name, title of work and sell price securely attached to the back of the work (see the template to be attached to each artwork). Copy of the template can be downloaded here.
  • Entries containing multiple works over 1 sq metre in size may be restricted by available space, at the discretion of the Art Exhibition Committee.
Insurance
  • Insurance of artworks is the sole responsibility of the Artist.
Delivery of Artwork
  • To Laguna Hall on Sunday 18 August 2019 from 10am to 4pm or Monday 19 August from 2pm to 4pm.
  • No entries will be accepted after these dates as the Exhibition has to be hung, and the catalogue finalised.
  • No wet artworks will be accepted.
Display of Artworks
  • Any artwork may be excluded from display at the Art Exhibition at the sole discretion of the Art Exhibition Committee, without prior notification to the Artist.
  • Given the large volume of works, the manner in which the artwork is displayed within the Exhibition is entirely at the discretion of the Art Exhibition Committee.
Care and Responsibility
  • The Laguna P&C Association will not be responsible for any loss of or damage to any artwork submitted for display.
  • Whilst we arrange for a volunteer to be onsite 24 hours a day from the delivery date (Sunday 18th August) it should be noted they are volunteers, and not professional security guards
Emerging Artists Award
  • This year Ken and Antoinette Maurer have kindly donated $300 for an Emerging Artist Award. To be eligible eligible for this award, artists must not have held a solo commercial art exhibition.
  • Please indicate eligibility on the form. The Award is selected by the Hanging Team Coordinator and will be announced at the Opening Night.
Opening Night Friday 23 August
  • This year we are planning an exciting and entertaining Opening Night which will include a Guest Speaker, the Official Art Exhibition Opening, and a sit-down dinner (at additional cost).
  • All exhibiting Artists will receive one (1) complimentary ticket to the Art Exhibition Official Opening (valued to at $15), which can be collected on the night.
  • Make Opening Night Dinner Bookings online at www.lagunaartshow.com.au.
  • Exhibiting Artists are entitled to free entry to the Art Exhibition (normally $15.00) therefore $15.00 discount for Dinner + Entry.  Please enter “Artist’ in the Promo code field at the time of booking to receive the discount.
  • Artists under 18 years please note: due to alcohol being served on Opening Night (Friday 23th August), no person under the age of 18 years will be able to attend.
Collection of Unsold Art
  • All unsold artwork must be collected from Laguna Hall – Sunday 25 August from 2pm – 4pm or Monday 26 August from 9am – 12pm.
  • In the interests of artwork care and preservation (yours and others) you will be assisted by our team of helpful volunteers in the removal of your unsold work. Please don’t remove it yourself.
  • Uncollected works will attract a holding fee of $5.00 per item per day until collected.
  • No responsibility can be taken for any artwork not collected by this time.
