28th Annual Laguna P&C Association Art Exhibition
The Laguna Public School P&C Association major fundraiser, the 28th Annual Art Exhibition will be held on the 23rd – 25th August 2019 in Laguna Community Hall.
Attracting several hundred visitors each year, the event offers an opportunity for local artists, both established and emerging, to have their work displayed whilst fundraising for Laguna Public School.
The Art Exhibition is the annual major fundraiser for the P&C Association where funds are used to create new learning spaces, resources and providing funds towards major school excursions.
Something For Everyone!
The brainchild of then-principal Jo Clews, the exhibition was first staged in 1992 at Wollombi Hall. Over time it has evolved into a three-day event staged at the Laguna Hall, adjacent to the school.
The opening evening dinner is a sell out event each year. Starting at 6.00pm before the the official opening at 8pm. Tickets are $45 per person.
The general exhibition will be open on Saturday and Sunday from 10am, with the local arts and crafts markets, craft activities for the kids and onsite café.
A fun evening for the whole family, the Saturday evening Lantern parade is held being held at Laguna Village Green from 5pm.

Attracting visitors from Sydney, Newcastle and the Hunter Valley, the exhibition regularly sells over $20,000 worth of art.
Emerging Artists are encouraged to enter. The winner receives $300 to use towards developing their skills or purchasing art supplies.
